We had the good fortune to come on Star Wars night. The game was actually really good. The SR’s really need to work on passing the puck and scoring strategy. The best thing they do is fight. It’s like they don’t know what a hockey stick is for.
The most disappointing thing was the crowd. I’ve been to hockey games in other places. This was ridiculous. Having those stupid cow bells clanging everywhere, and even wind-up air sirens was annoying, and made it impossible to enjoy an otherwise good game. I mean, some noise at appropriate times is ok and expected in spectator sports. But clanging cow bells and ringing sirens the whole time was nothing short of painful, irritating and distracting. I won’t be there often, if at all, if this is what I can expect.
